Munich, 23.11.2023 - On September 1, Bad Gastein and the historic Grand Hotel Straubinger were awakened from their slumber. On December 1, the Badeschloss will also open, completing the ensemble on Straubinger Platz, the heart of Bad Gastein. For the HR department it is an exciting challenge to recruit teams for two hotels for the kitchen, spa, housekeeping, front office, etc., from scratch, in times of shilled workers’ shortage. The hotels could not be more different: The Grand Hotel Straubinger, with its long history and patina, is a work of art in its own right and, with its Grand Hotel aspirations, appeals primarily to the more sedate and affluent clientele. The Badeschloss is a hip, colorful lifestyle hotel that will be a temporary home for millennials specifically. Both hotels, therefore, offer a large playground of opportunities, providing space for professionals, trainees, career changers, and for single mothers and fathers. The sum of all employees forms the soul of the two new houses.

The former ski jumping world champion uses the event to collect donations traditionally for his Sven Hannawald Foundation, to support young sports talents.
